Q: Who is responsible for registering my child’s group in the BC Green Games? A: Your child’s Teacher Sponsor is responsible for registering his/her group in the BC Green Games
Q: What kinds of projects can my child do? A: BC Green Games wants to get an idea of ALL of the different environmental projects that are happening in British Columbia. We know that it’s hard to capture the action so we are recommending a few different formats: • PowerPoint – take some photographs of your team in action, write some words to accompany the photos and put it together in a PowerPoint presentation. • Video – follow the progress of your project from idea generation all the way to action. Videos can be edited using many different programs, just make sure to save your finished video as a .mpeg file and you will be able to upload it to the BC Green Games
Q: What forms do I need to fill out? A: BC Green Games is trying to be environmentally responsible so we aren’t collecting extra copies of forms. The only form that you need to print and fill out is the Student Release Form – these should be collected and kept by your Teacher Sponsor
Q: Why should my child enter the BC Green Games? A: BC Green Games is going to be sharing projects from all around British Columbia – by entering, your child’s project could inspire many more kids to do actions in their schools! All entries also have the chance of winning project money that will go back to your school so that even more environmental actions can be done.
Q: My child is in a French Immersion class. Can their project be submitted in French? A: BC Green Games will accept entries in either French or English.
Q: Can my child's team win more than one prize? A: Yes! If a project does a great job of meeting the project submission criteria it may win a judges prize and be an online favourite.
Q: How can I get some help? A: Please email
