In its three previous seasons, BC Green Games has received over 350 entries promoting environmental protection, sustainability and stewardship projects from elementary and high schools province-wide. BCGreenGames.ca permanently showcases these action-based videos and photo-essays to inspire further positive changes in school and community behaviour. BC Green Games continues to increase student awareness of environmental issues. The program helps students realize their own ability to become local leaders and improve their sustainable practices in everyday life. The initiative also supports teachers as they integrate environmental sustainability into the curriculum and develop school communities that are more effective, efficient and environmentally responsible.
